Supply Chain
A supply chain is the network of suppliers, factories, warehouses, shippers and retailers involved in making and delivering a product. Disruption at any link, such as a blocked shipping route, can delay or raise the cost of the final product.
Why It Matters
Modern supply chains are efficient but fragile, as the pandemic and the 2026 Gulf war showed.
In India
A smartphone assembled in India may contain chips from Taiwan, screens from Korea and parts from China.
