Stockbroker
A stockbroker is a SEBI-registered firm that executes trades for clients on stock exchanges. Discount brokers such as Zerodha and Groww charge low fees through apps; full-service brokers also offer research and advice.
Why It Matters
You cannot trade shares on an Indian exchange without going through a broker.
